Three day Government of India Sponsored Training Programme on Palliative Care was conducted in collaboration with Pallium India from 29th to 31st December, 2025. 30 participants including medical doctors from medical colleges, dental colleges, officers working with Corporations, teachers from colleges and officers from various departments including Police department attended the programme. Different aspects of palliative care were covered in the training. A field visit to Pallium India was incorporated as part of the programme. The visit gave the officers a hands-on experience on the palliative care practices, the procedures involved and facilities required for palliative care. The highlight of the programme was majority of the officers who attended the programme expressed their willingness to contribute their expertise for better the palliative care activities in their field
