Tinku Biswal IAS is a senior Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1997 cadre, currently serving with the Government of Kerala in key administrative capacities. She has held several important assignments in the State administration, including principal secretary roles in departments such as Agriculture, Transport, Revenue & Disaster Management, and Local Self-Government, reflecting her broad experience in governance and policy implementation. In September 2025, she was appointed as the Principal Secretary, Local Self-Government Department, where she oversees decentralised governance and municipal affairs for the State. In addition to her departmental responsibilities, Ms Biswal has been entrusted with significant statutory duties, such as representing the Government of Kerala before the Honourable Supreme Court of India on matters of administrative importance. Throughout her career, she has contributed to strengthening institutional systems and improving service delivery across sectors.
