The intensive 4 day training for 30 Municipal Secretaries from different urban bodies of Kerala consisted of detailed sessions on Municipal Rules and Responsibilities, Essentials of Building Tax Rules and Responsibilities, Essentials of Paddy & Wasteland Act, on critical aspects of legal proceedings, solid & liquid waste management, and a daylong session on K-SMART.
Apart from these detailed sessions, two short sessions on essential aspects of project monitoring and POSH Act were also taken. These sessions were delivered by the resource persons with excellent record and expertise on the topics. A short TNA was conducted to ascertain the topics and subtopics to be covered and the sessions were deliberately tailored to make interactive.
