The first batch of SEVOTTAM training, in the year 2025-26 was conducted at the Institute of Management in Government (IMG), Thiruvananthapuram, on 30th August 2025. A total of 60 officers handling public grievances in their respective offices participated in the programme.

The objective of the training was to sensitize participants on the importance of citizen-centric governance and effective handling of public complaints.

Key sessions covered the SEVOTTAM Framework, CMO Portal, Citizen’s Charter & Right to Service Act, and the behavioural dimensions of administration.

The programme concluded with the formulation of action plans by the trainees, outlining steps they committed to implement in their respective offices.
