The National AYUSH Mission (NAM) and IMG conducted a training programme for the Medical Officers of the Seethalayam Project under the Homoeopathy Department on 18th and 19th November 2025. A total of 54 Medical Officers from across Kerala attended the programme.
As the first gender-based initiative under Seethalayam, aimed at empowering women’s mental, physical, and social health, the sessions focused on psychological, counselling, and legal aspects related to women’s mental health.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. R. Jayanarayanan, State Programme Manager, NAM. Sessions were handled by Dr. Mohan Roy (RMO, MCH Thiruvananthapuram), Adv. J. Sandhya, Dr. Mansoor Ali K. R. (Professor & HoD, Dept. of HR & C, GHMC, Kozhikode), Smt. Sulakshana (Assistant Director, Women & Child Development Department).
