A Govt. of India sponsored Training Programme New Procedures in Courts and its Relevance for officers of various Govt. Departments was conducted at IMG, Regional Centre, Kochi from 5 to 7 November 2025. Twenty six (26) officers were attended the programme.
A Session on General Awareness on Judicial Systems and Court Procedures was handled by Dr. Aliyar M.E. (Formerly Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Kerala State), Adv. Suneesh Kumar R., IPS (Rtd.) High Court of Kerala handled the sessions Crimes & Evidences & Arrest, detention, search and seizure under BNSS.
The sessions on New concept in Criminal law and justice BNSS & Narcotic Laws, Experience sharing as Judicial officer was by Shri P.S. Antony LLM, District Judge (Rtd.)
Adv. Prem Kamath, High Court of Kerala was the resource person for the topic on Electronic Evidence – A brief comparison between IEA & BSA. Dr. Jacob Varghese, Faculty, IMG, Kochi also handled the session on Evolution of Law
Smt. B. Suja. Associate Professor, IMG, Kochi was the Course Director.
