||The proposal for setting up of a National Centre for Land Governance at IMG, Kerala was approved by the 62nd Meeting of the Board of Governors held on 18th October 2012.
||The Department of Administrative Reforms & Personal Grievances, Government of India, as part of its support to States for capacity building in different areas of public administration conveyed the sanction to set up a National Centre for Land Governance at IMG in February 2013 vide letter No. K – 11022/63/2012 –AR (i) dated 8th February, 2013.
||The first Steering Committee meeting was held on 19th March, 2013 and deliberated in detail the plan of action of the new Centre for the year 2013-14.
The 122nd Executive Committee Meeting held on 22nd March 2013 has decided to permit to set up the National Centre for Land Governance at IMG
An Organising Committee was constituted to oversee the smooth conduct of the first National Level Consultation Workshop. The first meeting was held on 17th April, 2013 AND DECIDED TO HOLD THE FIRST NATIONAL LEVEL WORKSHOP DURING 30-31 MAY, 2013.
||The second meeting of the Organising Committee was held on 9th May, 2013 and finalised the list of invitees to the proposed National Level Consultation Workshop
The first National Level Consultation Workshop on Land Governance is being held during 30-31 May, 2013.
